Teachers include 1 professor and 1 instructor. In the university hospital, this department plays a central role in the general clinical training center, and as the Department of General Medicine (one shared professor), this department is in charge of primary care education and practice. The description includes education of physicians who can provide primary triage for whatever the chief complaints are and can refer appropriately to specialists. The department also ties up with the advanced emergency medical center as needed, and conducts research on constantly improving educational contents. The department is involved in various courses in the School of Medicine, including introduction to clinical medicine in the 1st year, introduction to community medicine in the 2nd year, clinical introduction course "Pre clinical clerkship " in the 4th year, clinical clerkship in the 5th year, and clinical clerkship in the 6th year.
