Clinical Services

As the outpatient practice, we see the general outpatients and special outpatients in the mornings. Plus, we see special outpatients, perform check-ups and operations in the afternoons. With regard to the special outpatients, the practice group is formed for each disease that is refractory or that calls for special cares. We have phototherapy outpatient department (atopic dermatitis, psoriasis), laser outpatient department (hemangioma), hydroa and keratosis outpatient department (epidermolysis bullosa, ichthyosis), collagenosis outpatient department, and tumor outpatient department. In each department, medical consultant and treatments are provided. In addition, gene diagnosis of dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa hereditaria that is a highly-advanced medical treatment is performed, and the analysis of the causal gene of genodermatosis such as the ichthyosis and genetic consultation are performed. As an approach to the skin malignant tumor that are increasing in late years, we take the advanced medicines such as "sentinel lymph node biopsy" to confirm the presence of the micrometastasis to the regional lymph node and the "photodynamic therapy" that combined the photosensitizer and phototherapy to treat the patients.
