Research Aims

  • A.Bioscience and Physiological Pathology

Functional analyses in various diseases, using procedures of molecular biology, cell biology and physiological pathology. Analyses of molecular mechanisms of circadian rhythm. Improvement of basic and diagnostic pathology.

  • B.Tumor Pathology

Biological/morphological analyses of tumor growth, differentiation and metastasis of human cancer, using procedures of molecular biology, histopathology and immunohistochemistry. Pathogenesis and physiological pathology of human tumor cells. Improvement of basic and diagnostic pathology. Analysis of the relationship between clinical imaging data and histopathology and predictors of response to chemotherapy.
