Introduction

In clinical situations, we face many clinical questions in promoting the proper use of pharmaceutical products. Therefore, it is necessary to convert these clinical questions into research questions that lead to clinical study. To clarify these questions, we research subjects identified in clinical situations through pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic-pharmacogenetic, and pharmacoeconomic approaches.

Research projects

  • 1. Study of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM)
The purpose of this study is to establish the individualization of drug dosage based on drug blood concentrations and polymorphisms of drug-metabolizing enzymes and transporters.
  • 2. Development of strategies to avoid disadvantageous pharmacokinetic drug interactions
In this study, interindividual differences that decrease or increase the drug blood concentration level based on a pharmacokinetic drug interaction are considered.
  • 3. Post-marketing surveillance study to promote the proper use of pharmaceutical products
The purpose of this study is to uncover cost-effective use of expensive medicines, economic loss from discarded anticancer drugs, and the relationship between the emergence of a drug resistant bacterium and conditions of use of antibiotics
